Having released The Lakes EP in March, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn are the latest pairing to join our playlist party. A fresh sound for the mix, it's with an Arsenal backed heritage that these two drop in as a welcome addition.
An eclectic mix of tracks that cross a solid spectrum of genres, the playlist is packed with a pre-game banger as well as post-match pick ups. Explaining his early infatuation with Arsenal, Frankie Stew gives us the low down as to where and when it all started for him from a football sticker era through to now. You can listen to the full playlist here.
"I’ve always been an Arsenal fan for as long as I can remember you know. My dad’s an Arsenal fan and lived in Highbury for a lot of his life, before he eventually moved to Brighton with my mum. I don’t think it was really a choice for me to be honest, you just kind of naturally support whoever your dad supports weirdly!"
"When I was a kid it was the best time to be an Arsenal fan. It was the Thierry Henry era.. need I say more? I went to quite a few games growing up before it got mad expensive. Believe it or not, I was a Young Gunner [laughs] entered some competitions to walk out with the players and all that sort of stuff."
