Continuing their forays away from the pitch, Inter Milan will once again play their part in Milan’s Design Week this year, as they did in 2018, by launching an initiative called “Design for Sport” in conjunction with RM Institute for Fashion and Design.
The “Design for Sport” initiative will see some of the most talented students at secondary schools in Milan and Lombardy submitting designs for Inter's First Team bus design ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. The winning team will receive a trophy and a special contribution from Inter aimed at improving the sporting equipment in their school.
The jury will be composed of the two CEOs from FC Internazionale Milano, Alessandro Antonello and Giuseppe Marotta, Vice President Javier Zanetti, Head of Inter Forever Francesco Toldo, Captain Samir Handanovic, President of the ADI-Association for Industrial Design Luciano Galimberti and College Director of the RM Institute for Fashion and Design Pasquale Volpe. Good luck boys and girls. Let's hope the kids of Milan are more creative than those in south London...
The Milan Design Week is set to run from 09-14 April with an exhibition of some of the proposals for the bus on display on 13 April.
