A chance to own a piece of history has presented itself as one of Kylian Mbappe’s France shirts is being auctioned for charity, and it’s signed by the entire World Cup winning French squad.
Even before his exploits at last year’s World Cup, most people with a passing interest in football were aware of the name Kylian Mbappe. Now, a rare opportunity has arrived to own one of the young Frenchman’s national team shirts, framed and signed by each member of the championship winning France team, after it was put up for auction on German site, United Charity.
Estimated to sell for €4,000 EUR, all proceeds from the sale will be donated to It’s for Kids, an organisation that’s dedicated to providing help for abused, neglected or otherwise disadvantaged children. The auction will run until 30 April, so if you’ve got several thousand pounds burning a hole in your pocket, then it could well be yours.
It’s not the first time that Mbappe has made this kind of donation to charity. Following France’s World Cup success, he donated his $500,000 win bonus to Premiers de Cordee, a charity that provides free sports instruction to disabled children and hospitalised children.
