It was announced recently that hip-hop artist and Tottenham fan, AJ Tracey was taking over NikeTown in London to launch his new Nike football jersey, so naturally we had to head down to check out the scenes, as the West Londoner posed for photos and signed autographs at the fully-booked event.
NikeTown in London became home to AJ Tracey on Thursday 6 June as the hip-hop artist launched the AJ Tracey x Nike football jersey, which represents his first collaboration with the Swoosh. Prominently featured throughout the store, AJ’s signature jersey was paired with the recently released SS19 ‘Sport Pack’, for a summer style that’s sure to get some views. The clothing was also accompanied by shots from the launch lookbook, which were on display throughout.
The AJ Tracey x Nike jersey was first spotted in the West London artist’s video for his latest single ‘Ladbroke Grove’, which sees him and his crew kicking about on a Morocco backdrop. The eye-catching volt base is accompanied by the ‘AJ Tracey’ font that features across his debut album front and centre in the sponsors slot. ‘GTRACEO’ then features on the reverse alongside the number 10. A stunning start for the Spurs fan with the Swoosh. We look forward to seeing what more this relationship produces in the future.
