James Harden Links Up With Reiss Nelson at the Emirates

Providing a requisite bit of cross sport flavour for the summer, NBA superstar James Harden took some time to visit the Emirates as part of his London tour with sponsors adidas, hanging out with Reiss Nelson and picking up the new Arsenal home shirt.

Arsenal welcomed the Houston Rockets point guard to the Emirates as adidas continued to pull out the stops for the latest club to have joined the Three Stripes roster. A flex of what they've got their locker when it comes to cross categories and exposure to new markets. Harden is one of the finest scorers in NBA history as well as being a seven-time All-Star who was named the regular season's Most Valuable Player in 2018, and having him turn up for a bit of fun in North London provides exactly the type of hype that both Arsenal and adidas will be hoping for from their newly rekindled relationship.

Harden was shown around by Reiss Nelson, with both players adorning the new Arsenal home kit for the 2019/20 season, Harden’s bearing his name and number, 13. Nelson, returning to the club after n immensely successful loan spell in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, has been a prominent face in the new shirt already, appearing at LDN19 for an exclusive Arsenal event alongside Wretch32 recently, which suggests he may be set to have a decent role to play in the upcoming season.

Following a quick look around the stadium, the two athletes got into some fun and games, kicking a ball about before Harden returned to his natural mode, picking up the ball for a touch of crossbar challenge with a difference. Only went and nailed it first time as well, didn’t he. Expect nothing less.
