Memphis Depay continues his pitch to studio switch up by dropping a second single, titled “Fall Back”. The mutual admiration and appreciation between musicians and footballers is well documented, with both often harbouring desires to be able to perform in the other’s arena, but that’s usually where it stops. Not for Memphis though.
With his latest single, Olympique Lyon attacker Memphis Depay shows that he’s not just fast with his feet, as he lays down some lyrics over a beat produced by Malix32x with co-production from Rass King. The Dutch international has never hidden his love of music, and following the relative success of his debut single, “No Love”, it’s no surprise to see a follow up.
“Fall Back” is his first fully English track, and is released with summer vibes flowing all the way through the four minute and 35 second track, with the video that accompanies the track featuring cameo appearances from fellow footballers Justin Kluivert, Steven Bergwijn and Tonny Vilhena. Not only that, Dutch rappers Ronnie Flex and Winne can also be seen linking up with Memphis.
