As part of the celebrations surrounding its 95th anniversary, Umbro has just launched a new competition titled 'Our Game Puts You In Their Boots', and it's offering talented female and male amateur players aged between 18-24 the chance to win a special one year sponsorship deal with the brand.
In 1960, Umbro became the first sports brand to sponsor a professional footballer, creating a ground-breaking moment in the game. In honour of this history and as part of the brand’s 95th anniversary celebrations, they are now presenting a very unique opportunity to amateur players between the ages of 18 and 24, as they begin a global search of aspiring footballers. Each of the winners will be awarded a one-year sponsorship agreement with Umbro, which will see them receive regular customised boots, kit drops and the opportunity to feature in activations and at money-can’t-buy events throughout the year.
