10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week – 24/01/2020

It’s Friday, and to help the last bit of time tick away before it’s officially the weekend we’ve got 10 things that you might have missed from the world of football this week, including Mbappe and Neymar rewriting the game in France, a novel new approach to player graphics, and the danger/humour of a flag to the groin. Ready? Let's go.

Granny Cam – You just know that she has loads of photo albums at home and that she talks about all the players like they're her own grandkids.

Turkish Delight – Got to start watching more Turkish football. Pure drama.

GIIIIIIIIROUD – If Messi did this they'd be talking about it forever.

Ever-toon – Portraits of Everton players created by kids from a local primary school replaced the in-match player graphics for the Premier League encounter with Newcastle. Great idea.

Real Football – All of today's fair weather City fans could do with sitting through this on loop for a few hours, learn what real football is.

Flag Nuts – Could've speared his prostate like a cocktail stick through an olive. Dangerous stuff.

Ole Powers – Solskjaer may still be at the wheel, but it appears as though his Sat Nav is broken.

Buttball – More evidence if ever it were needed that French football is Mickey Mouse, and Neymar is playing like he's at Disneyland.

Getting Handsy – Mbappe trying everything to get on the scoresheet in PSG's Coupe de la Ligue game against Stade Reims. This happened in the same game as Neymar's buttball. Say no more.

Caught Out – Red handed with his bit on the side. The face of shame says it all.

Ballerz – The NBA's opening fixture is coming to Paris for the first time ever, and the Milwaukee Bucks were only too happy to show off their tekkers at the Parc des Princes. The "Greek Freak", Giannis Antetokounmpo, could definitely do a job for the Gunners.

Leed The Way – Nice gesture, but kinda sad it's come to this. Can we all start staying on our feet please, for Pete's sake.

And that's your lot. Have a great weekend and watch out for stray flags.
