As owner of Inter Miami, David Beckham was never going to be late for their MLS debut against LAFC. But swiss watch company, Tudor, for whom Beckham is a brand ambassador, made sure of his punctuality by gifting him a special customised Tudor Pelages, complete with the club crest included on the face.

David Beckham has been an ambassador for swiss watchmaker Tudor since 2017, so it’s no surprise to see timepieces of that brand adorning the icon’s wrist. But ahead of Inter Miami’s MLS debut, the former England captain showed off his latest gift from the company: a Tudor Pelagos, customised with the club’s crest, the standard version of which retails at £3,440. Along with his custom Ralph Lauren suit, looks like Becks is doing alright out of this Inter Miami gig, despite the team's 1-0 loss in their MLS opener against LAFC.

The Tudor Pelagos is a chronometer-certified diver constructed from solid titanium, and measuring in at a larger 42mm size, and it’s is one of the most complete traditional mechanical divers’ watches available today. Waterproof to 500m, it’s powered with the new TUDOR Manufacture Calibre MT5612 movement, providing impressive autonomy alongside a power reserve of 70 hours. With the blacked-out edition with matching dial and ceramic bezel being used for Beckham's watch, the Inter Miami club crest, which sits just above the 6 o’clock position, stands out all the more, replacing the Tudor's usual inscription for a tidy sign-off.

In other Beckham-related news, a new documentary focusing on his impact on MLS is set to air in the coming days.
