adidas Presents The Huddle: Paul Pogba & Stella McCartney

Getting up close and personal with members of the Three Stripes team, adidas have laid out the another tool in the battle against boredom in lockdown. ‘The Huddle’ pairs up two ambassadors from opposing disciplines to talk candidly about whatever comes up, and the latest instalment sees Paul Pogba talking with Stella McCartney.

Adidas have been providing a wealth of online entertainment during lockdown, with the ‘Creator U’ classes providing insights into the design of some of the brand’s most iconic products, including the Pogba ACE 16+ Purecontrol, while ‘HomeTeam Collections’ is a series showcasing the favourite jerseys and boots of some of the world’s best footballers, the stories behind them, direct from their. And taking the idea of the close and personal connection of an on-pitch team talk, where players group together to provide a private sanctuary even with thousands of eyes upon them, ’The Huddle’ shows an intimate conversation between two members of the adidas HomeTeam.

The latest instalment sees the flamboyancy of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba offset by the fashion savvy Stella McCartney. The pair discuss Pogba’s injury lay-off and imminent return and the intricacies of building a brand, before veering towards the crossover of fashion in football. With a mutual passion for design, conversation inevitably steers towards seeing football and fashion combining for a more sustainable future in sport, with talk culminating with the pair sounding out the idea of a future collaboration. Could be very interesting to see...

'The Huddle: Paul Pogba and Stella McCartney' is the latest episode in the series, and it follows on from the last episode, which saw Paulo Dybala talking with Brazilian singer, songwriter and actress, Anitta. The pair discuss missing the game and staying fit at home before defining the intersection between football and music.
