With the delayed start to the 20/21 season, we’re brought even closer to the launch of FIFA 21, and as always, to build hype for the upcoming release EA Sports have begun releasing the player ratings, starting with the Top 100.
FIFA 21 is nearly upon us, dropping closer to the beginning of the season than ever before. And as we near the 9 October release date, more and more information about the game is being revealed. Following the announcement that Kylian Mbappe was set to be the cover star, we got the first trailer for the game, and that was then followed up with the reveal of the roster of Next-Gen Ambassadors. But now we get to the event that everyone’s been waiting for (y’know, aside from the game’s launch itself…): The reveal of the player ratings.
In this first drop, EA Sports have revealed the top 100 players, and it is comprised of a number of familiar stars from the football world who have retained their position in the ‘100 Club’, with Lionel Messi still on top of the rankings and cover star Kylian Mbappe featuring in the top 10. Four Premier league players feature in the top 10, with PFA Player of the Year winner Kevin De Bruyne joining Liverpool’s title winning trio of Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
