Pro:Direct's Black Friday Sale: Top Deals To Look Out For

The hype for Black Friday is already building, and while we won’t have to contend with the carnage on the high street this year, it’s still going to pay to have an idea of what you’re after. That’s why we’ve had a chat with the good folk at Pro:Direct, and while they haven’t told us outright what’s on their deal list, they did give us some hints, so what you’ll find below are some of the top items that we’re anticipating some big savings on come 27 November…

Pro:Direct’s Black Friday sale is always worth getting excited for, and this year there’s even more reason, with the hiatus on football set to lift right after this year’s sale extravaganza, making it the perfect opportunity to kit up for the return to the pitch. That’s on top of Christmas being right around the corner as well, yet another reason to be on the ball when it comes to knowing what you’re after.

When is Pro:Direct’s Black Friday Sale?

Black Friday always falls on the fourth weekend of November which, this year, is the 27th. And with the sports specialist offering their biggest Black Friday yet, the best way to stay ahead of the game and get the deals first is to sign up for their exclusive early access. Early access does what it says on the tin: it gives those who have signed up the chance to be the first to get their hands on deals.

What are the top items that we’re hoping to see discounted in the sale?

While the deals are yet to be announced, here’s some of the best releases from the last 12 months that we have it on very good authority will be part of the Black Friday sale. Crazy to think that most of these have actually only released in the last three months…

Nike Nigeria Collection

As expected, the follow up to the 2018 World Cup collection was just as wild, with the range taking in the unmistakeable Naija stylings across the on-pitch shirts, trainers and a whole range of apparel. You should be all over any savings across this collection.

Nike Mercurial Mbappé Rosa (superfly & Vapor)

Kylian Mbappe’s second signature edition Mercurial dropped earlier this year with a design that took influence from the Mercurial Vapor 2008. Strong sequel, and one we’d be very happy to see reduced.

Nike Flash Crimson Pack

The Mercurial Superfly VII and Vapor XIII alongside the Tiempo Legend VIII in crisp white coats that place the focus firmly on that big bold crimson lightning Swoosh. One of the cleanest released of the year and right up there on our list of wants.

adidas Glory Hunter Pack

Rivalling the crisp white aesthetics of Nike’s Flash Crimson pack, adidas served up the Glory Hunter pack, with fresh wraps for the Predator Mutator and COPA+. Perfect if you favour the Three Stripes over the Swoosh, but still like the clean look.

Nike Mercurial Dreamspeed 3

Do Nike do bad special editions? The Dream Speed 3 continued the line with yet more disruptive style this year, and it saw the trio of Ronaldo, Mbappe and Kerr joined by a host of younger hotshots, including Ansu Fati, Vinicius Jr. and Erling Haaland. Savings on this? Oh go on then.

PUMA Ultra 1.1 Leather

PUMA only launched the Ultra a few months back, disrupting its two-silo setup with a return to speed that kicked the One to the curb. And the leather edition just served to give it a seductively classic look that had us at hello. Traditional feel with modern tech, all for a lower price? In.

Nike Tech Craft Pack

Speaking of traditional feel, Nike’s Tech Pack – like Black Friday – is something we look forward to  every year. And this year didn’t disappoint, with leather renditions of the Mercurial, Tiempo and the all-new Phantom GT that also paid tribute to the original Nike Tiempo from the 1994 World Cup. With these only coming out in September, any savings would be most welcome.

adidas Predator 20+ Pogba

Season 7 of adidas’s Pogba collection saw the release of the resplendent signature Predator Mutator, wrapped up to look like something from Louis Vuitton. With Pogba cutting his time in this short due to the release of the Humankind Predator, it was criminally under used on-pitch. Time to put that right with a nice discount…

South Korea Collection

On the back of the original Nigeria collection, Nike turned their attention to South Korea, elevating the nation to the brand’s highest statement level of design and creativity. Another collection of incredible heights, punctuated by the white tiger-inspired away kit, which spreads across the wider range. With an easy transition to street style, this is well worth picking up, especially at a discounted price.
