Daily Paper Head Back To Ghana For 2021 Tournament

Returning to Ghana and the pitch they built with PUMA back in 2017, Amsterdam-based fashion brand Daily Paper hosted their 2021 football tournament at Accra Senior Girls School this week supported by Audiomack.

Returning to Ghana for a follow up to last year’s inaugural tournament, Daily Paper once again united the local creative community, expanding proceedings to nine teams, brought together as a family for the love of sport. Designing bespoke kits for the occasion, friends of the brand including Eunice Beckman, Amarachi Nwosu, Vic Mensa and La Même Gang were just some of the many names who got involved in the initiative alongside Daily Paper.

Daily Paper have their roots firmly fixed in African culture and they have always been committed to ensuring that the rich and diverse culture of Africa is at the forefront of everything they do globally, through their seasonal collections, visual campaigns, lookbooks and storytelling. The special tournament, hosted at the football facility that they helped build back in 2017 in Accra, Ghana, is one of the many ways that the brand’s founders, Hussein Suleiman, Abderrahmane Trabsini and Jefferson Osei give back to the continent that inspired them to create their label in the first place.
