The recruitment drive continues, with New Balance announcing that England Under 21 player, Eberechi Eze has officially signed with the brand, joining what is fast becoming one of the most exciting young rosters in the game.

Eberechi Eze has taken to the Premier League like a fish in water since his move across London from QPR to Crystal Palace. The England Under 21 star has been terrorising full backs this season, carrying across his direct running and dribbling skills to catch a lot of attention, often helping ease the burden of Palace missing Wilf Zaha when he’s been injured. And he’s recently been doing so in the New Balance Furon v6+, leading to suspicions that he was set to sign with the brand.

Sure enough, Eze has now been announced as the latest young star to sign with New Balance, following in the footsteps of Buyako Saka and Harvey Elliott, while we all still await official confirmation of Raheem Sterling’s switch.

Joining New Balance is a huge moment for me and I’m grateful for this opportunity,” explained Eze. “There’s so much more I want to achieve in the game and right now I’m working on putting in good performances to help me get there. It’s great to have a global brand behind me.

Eze was first seen playing in a blackout version of the Furon v6+ at the beginning of the year, leading to suspicions that he was the latest athlete to be leaving Nike. That rumour was then lent further fuel when he started playing in the 'Lead the Hunt' colourway of the Furon, a boot he's stuck with for well over a month now. So it's no surprise that the Palace man will be wearing the Furon v6+ going forward.
