Paris Saint-Germain have opened a new flagship store on the Champs-Élysées, twice the size of their previous club shop on the iconic avenue. The space will offer the latest PSG Limited product and host special fan events throughout the year.
So we now know what all of PSG’s collaborations over the years have been building up to… like how the MCU built up to its crescendo… OK, maybe not quite like that, but you’ll find the majority of the club’s collaborative merchandise – from Jordan merch, to Andrew Skateboard decks to that impressive PSG x Super73-Z Electric Bike, and much more besides, all housed under one roof at their impressive new store on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
Last year, PSG became the first European club to open a store in Korea, but now their attention returns a little closer to home. The move sees PSG switch from No. 27 on the French capital's most famous avenue to No. 92 and an expansive 3,983 square foot commercial space over two floors – an upgrade reflecting the Ligue 1 giants' ever-growing global appeal.
"This opening on the most beautiful avenue in the world is an important marker of the club's international appeal," said the club's brand director Fabien Allegre. "This is an historic day for PSG, and a clear sign that the work put in over the last 10 years is paying off."
As part of the celebrations for the grand opening, PSG have unveiled their latest collaboration, this time with graffiti artist Crash, otherwise known as John Matos, and Tango Hotel who specialise in bringing wearable art to a wider audience. The collection is comprised of hoodies, jerseys, shorts and accessories that feature the Parisian club’s branding overlaid by CRASH’s vibrant aesthetic.
Saul Cattan, the Vice President of Tango Hotel, said of the the collaboration: “[It] highlights PSG’s position within art, culture and music. While many think of PSG as a football club, we are excited for the opportunity to present them in this new and innovative way.”
The first drop of the PSG x Crash x Tango Hotel collection is available now at PSG's Champs Elysees store.
