Cruising to the quarter finals in style, England are looking good both on and off the pitch, and the latter has been helped by a set of customised Nike Air Force 1 trainers, which the likes of Phil Foden, Harry Kane and Gareth Southgate have been seen wearing in Qatar.
The new home of customised sneakers, ‘CANVVS’ have kicked off their business in style by collaborating with Nike on a set of custom Air Force 1 trainers for the England World Cup squad. Members of the Three Lions squad, including Manager, Gareth Southgate, Captain, Harry Kane and Phil Foden and others have been spotted with the customised Air Force 1 trainers, created by the platform’s most popular customisers, including Lorenzo Federici (Lorenz.OG), Jordan Dawson (Jordan.Dawson), Damian Florian (MadeBlackStudios) and Leanne Richardson (Leanne.LDN).
The trainers have included messages of support and inspiration along with the players' initials and England's newly created legacy numbers. The trainers, made in partnership with the Football Association and CANVVS, have been based on the colour of the current England kit, with the players working on customising their own shoes with unique personal touches. These have included quotes and messages to inspire them, along with their initials and the England team’s new legacy numbers.
CANVVS has high-profile investors from the world of fashion, business and sport, and aims to be the go-to platform for the world’s best sneaker artists to create and supply their designs to athletes, sneakerheads, fans and art collectors around the globe.
Alex Murray, founder of CANVVS said: “We have huge ambitions – our aim is for CANVVS to be the largest custom platform and community in the world.
“Working with Nike has allowed us to create with the England football team, which has been fantastic. We aim to build on this by supplying more and more top athletes and teams with CANVVS customs.
“We will inspire new artists and support existing ones to make custom sneakers and NFTs more accessible to fans, collectors & customers worldwide.”
CANVVS will officially launch in the new year.
