USMNT star Christian Pulisic goes Sneaker Shopping with Complex's Joe La Puma at KITH's Miami Design District location and talks his PUMA deal, wearing rare Off-White boots, emulating Pele's style in footwear and Messi coming to Miami.
We’re in the off-season, and enjoying some down time, Christian Pulisic headed back Stateside to follow in the footsteps of some of football’s greats such as Ronaldo, Neymar, Mbappe and Beckham, joining Complex for a spot of Sneaker Shopping. For that, he headed to KITH's Miami Design District location, hooking up with Complex’s Joe La Puma to answer some questions as he browsed the stock, ultimately spending $1476.60 on a range of shoes and apparel – not quite up there with Neymar's $18,000 back in 2017!
As always, Jo La Puma gets down to the nitty-gritty, speaking with Pulisic about a whole range of topics, from being one of the players to debut the iconic Nike OFF-WHITE x Nike Mercurial Vapor XII 360, to making the switch from Nike to PUMA, looking at his signature boots with that brand. He also gets Pulisic's opinion on Messi's switch to MLS with Inter Miami as well as finding out more about his early love of sneakers and how it's actually his mum that normally runs up his sneaker tab. No hint at what the future holds for the current Chelsea man at club level though...
