Following on from events in Manchester and Blackburn, adidas announces Originals Newcastle, presented by adidas Spezial – an all-encompassing exhibition featuring products from the past and present, in partnership with END.
If you’re an admirer of iconic adidas silhouettes and you happen to find yourself up north this week with some time to kill, why not head to the Newcastle Contemporary Art Gallery (39 High Bridge, Newcastle, NE1 1EW) and check out the latest adidas Originals SPEZIAL footwear exhibition. Following in the footsteps of previous exhibitions in Blackburn and Manchester, ehe exhibition is open Midday – 8pm daily from Friday 27 October – Sunday 5 November. And the best part? It's totally free to attend. Not bad, eh?
The exhibition will feature a mixture of archival and contemporary footwear, including limited edition releases, signed personal pairs from the likes of Stormzy, Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, Run DMC, Missy Elliott and more. In addition, there will be an exclusive preview of the forthcoming adidas SPEZIAL AW23 footwear collection, accompanied by a full display from the adidas SPEZIAL archive.
