Following the launch of the Predator 24 ‘Pure Strike’, adidas hosted an event with Trent Alexander-Arnold for which they invited hundreds of Liverpool ballers to Tiber Football Centre in Toxteth to take on the ’66 Second Challenge’.

This week saw the official launch of the adidas Predator 24 ‘Pure Strike’, the signature colourway in which Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his move to the Three Stripes back in November. To celebrate that launch, adidas invited hundreds of Liverpool ballers to take on the ’66 Second Challenge’ (so named after Trent’s shirt number) at Tiber Football Centre in Toxteth. Those brave enough to step up were given 66 seconds to volley a ball launched at them into a target in order to win a pair of Trent’s exclusive adidas Predator colourway for themselves and friends.

Shortly after the challenge started, the man himself arrived to surprise the hopeful participants. He delivered some expert tips, encouraging words and a few assists, as he watched the city’s finest try and match his iconic ball-striking style.

Alexander-Arnold said: "These boots are really special to me, so I wanted to make sure that to get a pair, you really had to earn it! Everyone loves a skill game and I wanted to take it back to one of my favourite games growing up – 60seconds.

There was some seriously good technique on display tonight and now all the winners will get to wear these boots as a badge of honour when they step on the pitch.
