Lamine Yamal Unveils His First adidas Signature Logo: A Mark Of Rocafonda Roots & Barcelona Brilliance

adidas has today lifted the lid on the brand-new signature logo of Lamine Yamal, a bold emblem that brings the essence of the teenager’s identity, his roots, and the artistry of his playing style into a single mark.

Co-designed by the man himself, Lamine Yamal's new logo design is steeped in meaning. At its heart sit his initials, intertwined with 304 — the area code of Rocafonda, the neighbourhood that shaped him. His trademark left foot, forever glued to the ball, is represented in the form, while the towering block structures of Barcelona stand tall within the silhouette, grounding the logo in the city that continues to witness his rise.

To mark the unveiling, adidas has released a film that opens a window into Yamal’s creative process. From sketchbook beginnings — refining initials, trialling shapes, and scribbling ideas — through to digital polish, the video charts the transformation of raw hand-drawn lines into a finished symbol. Animated sequences layer each element step by step, underscoring just how personal the process has been for the 17-year-old.

Speaking on the launch, Yamal said: “This logo means a lot to me because it brings together who I am, where I come from, and how I play. To see my story represented with adidas in this way is really special.”

It’s a story that echoes adidas’ ongoing commitment to spotlighting the next wave of football icons. Jude Bellingham was the last player to receive his own signature logo with the Three Stripes, and now Yamal joins him in carrying the banner for a new generation. Together, they represent not only the future of the brand but also the game itself — two players redefining football in real time, each with a mark that reflects who they are beyond the pitch.

With Barcelona as his canvas and Rocafonda as his roots, Lamine Yamal’s journey is still only beginning. Now, with a signature logo to his name, the teenager steps into a rare space occupied by the game’s most influential figures.
