Germany World Cup 2010 Football Shirts by adidas

Germany have unveiled the football kit they will be wearing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Created by adidas, the DFB presented the brand new home jersey, which has classy white styling and features three stripes in black, gold and red.



The new German national football shirt was introduced during an event in Herzogenaurach, the home of DFB equipment supplier adidas. DFB coach Joachim LÖw, Captain Michael Ballack, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Per Mertesacker, Oliver Bierhoff and Franz Beckenbauer were on hand to unveil the jersey to the public.



German Captain Michael Ballack commented: The new jersey gives us an extra spark for the upcoming preparation for the 2010 World Cup .

The new Germany football shirt is traditional white with classy black trim, and for the first time includes three stripes in black, gold and red running the length of the jersey.



The badge of the DFB has gold stars to celebrate Germany's three World Cup victories in 1954, 1974 and 1990. And on the back of the shirt the gold detailing reads "Deutscher Fußball Bund".

Germany will go into the 2010 FIFA World Cup as one of the tournament favourites, and wearing this classy new shirt they will certainly look the part!
