Chelsea Home Kit 2011-2012 - adidas Football Shirt

Chelsea Football Club and adidas have unveiled the brand new Chelsea home shirt for the 2011/12 football season exclusively on the SoccerBible, check out our full images of the new adidas football jersey.

The new Chelsea football kit takes inspiration from Chelsea s heritage with design features originating from past kits used in the early 80s, one example of which is the shadow striped design on the front panel.

The Chelsea Home kit 2011-2012 has a variety of distinguishing design features, including a white colour block that has been added to the sleeves and shorts, resulting in adidas  iconic white three stripes appearing in blue for the first time on a Chelsea strip and creating a distinctive and striking design.

As for the tech side of things, adidas are once again on top of their game as the 2011/12 Chelsea football shirt features adidas TechFit technology, proven to enhance performance.

We're going to get a bit geeky now, but here's all the tech info you need to know. The featured TechFit technology helps improve speed, increase endurance capabilities and enhance awareness. This works by stabilising and focusing the muscles  energy to generate explosive acceleration and deliver maximum power output.

The new Chelsea football shirts also feature adidas ClimaCool technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones.

The new Chelsea Home jersey 2011/12 is expected to be worn in the Premier League for the first time at the final home game of the season, when Chelsea play Newcastle on 14th May. The new Chelsea kit is available to pre-order now ahead of being released on the 12th May, and you can expect to pay around £50 GBP / $80 USD / €60 EURO to wear your colours!
