FC Barcelona Away Kit 2011-2012 - Nike Football Shirt
Presented in the corridors of the Camp Nou, the arena for Barcelona's slick brand of football, the Barcelona 2011/12 Nike Away Shirt is quite different to what we've become accustomed to yet still reinforces Barca's danger!
When you watch Barca in free-flow attacking mode they're a deadly opposition, now with the launch of the new Barcelona Away kit 11/12 they have a deadly stealth-like look to match! Presented on Tuesday in the corridors by gate 54 of the south stand at the Camp Nou, in an event full of sound and visual stimuli, the new Nike Barcelona Away shirt has had a huge reaction with the fans. 
The new Barcelona 11/12 Nike Away Kit is the uniform that the newly crowned La Liga champions will wear on their travels next season. Describing the new look, Sports Director of Professional Football Andoni Zubizarreta commented: "The black reserve strip is elegant and will be great to wear". We're guessing Barca are hoping to intimidate the opposition on their own turf! 
The release of the new 11/12 Nike Barcelona Away Kit is a special moment in Barcelona FC history. For the first time the club will wear a home and away strip featuring a shirt sponsor. Qatar Foundation will adorn the highly sought after retail space across the front of Barcelona's new jerseys for the next five years.
The non-profit organization that works with education projects in the Middle East, will replace the famous unicef logo that has become an iconic part of Barcelona's jerseys. 
The arrival of the Qatar Foundation sponsor will not please the Barcelona romantics who have witnessed the club refute valuable shirt sponsor temptations throughout Barca's 111 year history. While financial necessities have been met, the Catalan club maintain their uniqueness by featuring the unicef logo on the back of their new 11/12 Nike Jerseys. 
FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell spoke about the new kit. According to him, "BarÇa is more than a club ("mes que un club") for many reasons, and one of those is because it has the best travel companions." He added: "Nike is a brand reference, it s more than just a brand and we are delighted to have the best with us. They ve come up with an ecological, innovative, ground-breaking, and daring design, that won t leave anybody indifferent .
We're very keen to hear the reactions of the fans to the new Barcelona Away shirt, because aesthetically it is very different unique for Barca to wear an all-black strip. With little design features, what stands-out are the club, brand and sponsorship logo's.
Packed with history and tradition, Barcelona shirts continue to provide an emblem for the most exciting football played in the world. The look may be different, but the message remains the same. Total control.
