Celtic Away Shirt 2011-2012 - Nike Football Shirt
As we continue our countdown to the 11/12 season, SoccerBible can reveal another exciting replica release! Nike and Scottish giants Celtic have unveiled the new 11/12 Celtic away jersey, ready to lead The Bhoys on their travels this season!

The Scottish Premier League club will try to regain SPL dominance in a predominately white number this season. Designed in white with silver grey hoops separated by thin green lines, the new 11/12 Celtic away shirt features a green round-neck collar with green sleeves and grey details. 
Celtic new-boy and Scotland winger Kris Commons is the chosen athlete to headline Nike's promotional imagery for the release. The CTR360 midfielder made an immediate impact last season after signing from Derby County in January, and has become one of the clubs lead Nike players. 
The iconic Celtic crest sits between two of the grey hoops, remaining stitched onto the jersey with a single star above the badge - symbolising their 1967 European Cup glory. In further reference to 1967, the legendary words of former manager Jock Stein are found on the inside of the collar. ''Pure, beautiful, inventive football''. A must for all Celtic fans. 
The lightweight playing kit (13% lighter than previous versions) actively regulates the players' body temperatures on the pitch to keep them dry and cool at all times through the use of Nike Dri-FIT technology. Temperature regulation is helped by ventilation zones, consisting of hundreds of tiny laser cut holes from the under arms to the waistband, allowing air to circulate to keep players dry, cool and comfortable. 
After a pre-season tour of Australia, Celtic are in line to face Cardiff City tomorrow night. We're being told Celtic fans will have to wait until August 7 when the Hoops play Aberdeen at Pittodrie to get a glimpse of the new shirt in action.
