Designed in the iconic Nerazzurri colours, the stripes of the new 11/12 Inter Home Shirt are a classic take on Inter's famous black and blue stripes - a feature of Inter Milan shirts since the clubs founding in 1908. The no-nonsense design is a traditional step away from last seasons ''serpent scale'' stripe concept, while the amount of stripes has been increased to five on the front. 
Nike have reintroduced a collar design - last seen on the 09/10 Away Shirt - to the new 11/12 Inter Milan Home Jersey. Featuring a black retro collar with a large concealed button placket, the new neck design adds to the elements of class seen throughout the entire Inter jersey. The white and red flag of the City of Milan now sits on the inside of the collar. 
Inter Milan home shirts have remained a consistent reflection of the Italian clubs great history over the years. After the futuristic diversion of 10/11, Nike have returned to the simple and iconic look of past Inter Milan home shirts. With a classic striped design with a retro collar, the new 11/12 Inter Milan Home Shirt has strong similarities to past Umbro Inter shirts of the 90's. 
The new Inter Milan home kit (shirt and shorts) are made from one hundred percent polyester recycled by Nike. Each of these is obtained directly from the recycling of fourteen plastic bottles. The strip actively contributes to the regulation of the player's body temperature during matches thanks to the Nike Dri-FIT material. The shirt is more aerodynamic than previous ones due to its 17% increase in elasticity.
The new 11/12 Inter Milan Home Shirt will be available to pre-order from today for around £50/$70/€55. The two leading Italian clubs have certainly impressed so far with new replica releases. How do you think the new Inter shirt compares?
