The new 11/12 Juventus Away Shirt is a modern design that pays homage to the Turin side's illustrious history. Delivered in an audacious bright pink, the away jersey is now dominated by an over-sized black star across the front of the shirt. The shorts that will compliment the new Juventus Away shirt are black, while the socks are completely black except for a small  J  on the calf.

Juventus are one of the few football teams that have become famed for wearing pink jerseys. Following the foundation of the club in 1897, Juventus wore pink coloured shirts with black shorts for six years before switching to the traditional black and white stripes.

Besides the colour, the main talking point has to be the unmissable star that drastically dominates the front of the shirt from neck to waist. The unique feature alludes to the Champions League success of 1996 where Juventus claimed European glory wearing a blue shirt with over-sized gold stars on the shoulder.

The strips also actively contribute to the regulation of athlete s body temperature on the pitch thanks to the Nike Dri-FIT fabric. The shirts contain a new aerodynamic fit, now more slender, which offers 17% more elasticity than the previous shirt. The new shirts are made entirely with Nike s innovate recycled polyester: each one is produced directly from the recycling of fourteen plastic water bottles.
