Turkey Away Replica 2012-13 - Nike Football Shirt

It's international friendly week, and despite not qualifying for Euro 2012 Turkey haven't missed out on a new shirt from Nike. Turkey s new 2012 away kit represents the countrys' football heritage and national symbols in a contemporary and stylish new design.

Inside the back of the neck is a graphic of the All Seeing Eye, also known as the Evil Eye or Nazar Boncugu. It's a charm in Turkish culture that promises to bring bearers luck and keep a watchful eye over them, warding off evil and keeping them safe.

Turkey s new away kit represents the countrys' football heritage and national symbols in a contemporary and stylish new design. The away shorts are white. The home socks, now with improved cushioning for greater comfort, movement and protection, are also white with a red stripe at the top.

Laser-cut ventilation on the shirt promotes localised cooling where athletes need it most to remain focused on the game. A new double knit structure and yarns also makes this kit 20% stronger, with no compromise to fit and feel and natural cotton added for comfort.

The fabric is also up to 23% lighter than the version four years ago. Embedded with Nike Dri-FIT technology, the kits help to regulate players' temperatures on the pitch by removing sweat from the body to keep them dry and cool faster than ever before.

In line with Nike s commitment to superior athletic performance and lower environmental impact, the fabric of the new kit s shorts is made with 100% recycled polyester, while the fabric of the shirts is made with at least 96% recycled polyester. Each kit is made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles.

Nike have been on the money with each kit release of 2012 so far! The new Turkey 2012/13 Nike Away Kit is another fantastic design, and is expected to be worn for the first time on Feb 29. when Turkey host Slovakia.
