Everton Away Replica 2012-13 - Nike Football Shirt

Everton FC have unveiled their first football kit with Nike as official partner, it's a stylish black shirt with striking yellow detail and will be worn throughout their Away fixtures during the Premier League 2012-13 season.

Everton's new away football shirt 12-13 was unveiled in front of an exclusive audience of loyal supporters, who attended every one of the Blues home and away games during the 2011/12 season! Everton's first replica in partnership with Nike, and they're in good company as Nike boast such clubs as Barcelona, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

The shirt features a classic collar and is made from Nike Dri-Fit fabric which is lightweight and manages perspiration, keeping players dry and comfortable. The stylish black look is complimented with striking yellow detail.

The new Everton Away kit is made from Nike s ground-breaking recycled polyester, making it Nike s most environmentally friendly kit ever produced. Each kit (shirt and shorts) is made using up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles. This innovative manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to manufacturing traditional polyester. Since 2010 Nike has used an estimated 1115 million recycled plastic bottles to create its high performance kits.

The kits are made out of 23% lighter fabric with 20% stronger knit structure than Nike s previous kits and feature Nike Dri-FIT technology to wick moisture away from athletes to help keep them cool and dry on-pitch.

Is there a power shift in the city of Liverpool as Everton have struck a landmark deal with sportswear giants Nike, and are you liking their first offering? Share your thoughts and join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
