Paris Saint-Germain Home Replica 2012-13 - Nike Football Shirt

Nike have taken a fresh approach to the home strip of French giants Paris Saint-Germain. For the 2012-13 season, the Parisian's will play in an all blue shirt, with a blue collar and sleeves. The design celebrates the heritage of the club badge, synonymous with the team and fans.

The most noticeable change is the lack of a solid red stripe - an iconic feature of Paris Saint-Germain shirts. The new design features a split red white graphic centred down the middle of the jersey. Let us know what you think online, on Twitter on Facebook.

The shorts and socks will match the blue of the new Paris Saint-Germain home shirt, giving balance to the kit that will be worn by the likes of Javier Pastore, Kevin Gamiero, Alex and Mohamed Sissoko in Paris Saint-Germain's push for Ligue 1 glory.

Following the clubs new backing, there's a real excitement surrounding the financial heavy-weights, with more fresh faces expected to join manager Carlo Ancelotti and pull on the famous blue jersey next season.

As with all Nike kits, the 12/13 Paris Saint-Germain home strip is made from fabric constructed from recycled plastic bottles, making them Nike s most environmentally friendly kit ever produced. An innovative manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to manufacturing traditional polyester.

How do you think the new 2012/3 Paris Saint-Germain kit compares to last season? Let us know what you think! Share your thoughts and join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
