It's Blue. What Else Matters? adidas Tease New Chelsea Home Kit
The campaign is based on Chelsea owning the colour 'blue', and will showcase the players and show their commitment to the colour. Imagery released by adidas today gives us an idea of what to expect. From the looks of things, adidas and the Chelsea crew have had some serious fun with this launch.
There's a real buzz coming from the adidas camp ahead of this launch. The three stripes - who have been partnered with Chelsea since 2005 - insist this is their most exciting work with the London club yet. More imagery will be released tomorrow ahead of the campaigns full launch on April 06.
Recent seasons have given us a strong seletion of Chelsea home strips with real variation. Blending the tradition of Stamford Bridge with new-age technologies, adidas have created striking designs with added performance benefits. So how will they dress Chelsea's new generation of stars for the 2013/14 season?
Chelsea push some real numbers when it comes to selling football jerseys - they're adidas' second largest club for replica shirts, selling 910,000 a season. Only Real Madrid can beat that - the La Liga giants sell on average nearly 1.5 million a season. There's huge anticipation ahead of this launch, with more being revealed tomorrow. Stay tuned!
