Fulham Reveal 2013/14 adidas Home Kit
Fulham have unveiled their new adidas home shirt for the 2013/14 Premier League season. After a spell with a few different brands the London club have returned to the three stripes who have in turn whipped up a simple design for Fulham to wear at Craven Cottage in the new campaign.
Fulham first wore an adidas kit in 1977 when George Best donned the famous number seven shirt and they returned to adidas 20 years later for 5 seasons before flirting with Puma, Nike and Kappa. The 2013/14 home shirt features a deep v-neck in jet black with black stripes and trim on an all white base. A simple kit that stays well within the club's tradition.
The new home shorts are black with red stripes and brand logo to match the white/red socks. Marathonbet is the club's new sponsor for the next couple of years and their red logo ties in nicely with the details on the shorts and socks. Along with Southampton, Fulham is a new addition for adidas this season who take their tally of Premier League clubs up to 9.
Brede Hangeland, Damien Duff, Bryan Ruiz, Steve Sidwell and Alexander Kacaniklic were amongst the players who were on new kit duty and they'll get to wear the shirt competitively for the the first time when they host Arsenal at the Cottage a week after kicking off their Premier League season with a trip to Sunderland.
