Mexico Unveil New adidas 'Tricolor' Jersey
New uniform set to inspire the team to World Cup qualification.

The Mexican Football Federation and adidas have released their team uniform first seen during Mexico's World Cup qualifier against Panama on Friday. The first of all adidas sponsored teams to present its new uniforn, the kit will convey the country's hopes and optimism as the team battle to qualify for Brazil 2014.

The new jersey features a bi-tonal green base, which forms a unique looking design, while the white touches on the chest, sleeves and the iconic three stripes add to the overall look of the jersey. Mexico's crest is located in the middle of the chest, accompanied by a graphic element said to express the strength, passion and pride of an entire nation.

The new kit is the lightest that Mexico have ever worn thanks to adidas' adizero engineering. Combining different technologies to offer the lightest possible football kit, the hi-tech clobber allows players to remain fast, cool and comfortable whilst on the pitch.

On the new kit, adidas' Brand Director, Teodoro Husemann commented: "For adidas it is an honor to outfit the National Team. We have developed the lightest jersey, with an innovative and unique design, while staying true to our principle of offering only the best to our athletes, the Mexican Federation, and football fans on our way to FIFA's World Cup 2014"
