Warrior Football have followed up their announcement of securing FC Porto by unveiling the club's 2014/15 blue and white home strip.
The brand's debut kit for a club that has claimed more honours than any other Portuguese club features 11 subtle sublimation lines that score the bold blue stripes, representing the 11 players on the pitch.
As a nod towards the clubs loyal fanbase, the 11 stripes also create 12 blue strips, a fitting tribute to FC Porto’s ‘12th man’ - the fans. Contrast orange piping to the shoulder seams completes the fluid modern look of the shirt which is fitted with a two-tone mesh for added ventilation.
Embroidered onto the back neck are the words ‘FC Porto’. Richard Wright, General Manager of Warrior Football, said: “It was Warrior’s challenge to not only deliver a shirt that took a step forward into a new era for the club but also incorporated elements of its past. What has been delivered is a visually striking kit, instantly recognised as FC Porto, which will allow the players to perform at their best. We’re looking to seeing it in action next season.”
