Nike reveal away kit for La Liga champions Atlético Madrid, who will defend their title away from home playing in grey.
Replacing the yellow and navy of last season Nike have launched an all grey design on the Atletico Madrid 2014/15 away kit; a colour the club have never played in before. Consisting of three different shades of grey, the shirt is darker around the neck, lighter at the bottom, and a features a tonal grey chevron across the chest.
Inside the neck is a pennant tab featuring the Spanish flag and "Campeón del Mundo 1975" (Champions of the World) that celebrates one of Atlético’s greatest ever achievements when they defeated the South American champions Independiente 2-1 over two legs to win the Intercontinental Cup for the first time.
Nike round off the design nicely with a double layer grey crewneck collar with a red trim around the end of the sleeves. The away shorts are grey with a lighter shaded stripe on each side, while the away socks are a combination of light and dark grey with a chevron design on the back; a feature on all Nike socks this season.
