Manchester City is becoming an imposing brand on the global game, their heritage however is one of their most valuable assets. Inspired by the playoff final of 1999 the club and Nike have unveiled a striking new third kit that pays tribute to an iconic moment.
A playoff symbolic of a never say die attitude, it's just the tailoring that the club needs to ensure they're fighting on all cylinders into this season as they go on the hunt for an array of major trophies. Beating Gillingham after trailing by two goals, the final of '99 saw them don a loud yellow and black away kit so bringing this influence into play is where the inspiration arose with its green trim.
The palate of vocal proportions, this this new Night Rising third kit is to give a loud presence on the pitch with the black ombré graphic accentuating the striking green. Blending from the cuffs of the short and shirt it will certainly come to life in evening games
Going to work the kit will make its debut on the pitch against Sunderland on 22nd September. The 2015-16 Manchester City Night Rising third kit will go on sale here from 1st October.
