As the champagne continues to flow, Leicester City and PUMA have unveiled the club's new home strip they will wear in their Premier League title defence and debut Champions League campaign next season.
Having extended their deal with The Foxes in 2015 ahead of their return to the Premier League in a deal that runs until the end of the 2017/18 season, PUMA now find themselves as the official kit suppliers to the Premier League champions. UNfuc*kingBELIEVABLE, as they put it.
Similar in large parts to last season's title winning outfit, the new shirt brings an altered geometric jacquard design to the body and sleeves, while also introducing a traditional collar. The textured form stripe and contrasting piping featured on the shirt and shorts gives a subtle flash of gold to showcase the club’s Champion status.
Paul Spencer, General Manager PUMA UKIB said "We’re delighted to continue our strong partnership with the English Premier League Champions in launching the Leicester City PUMA home kit for the 2016-17 season. As well as writing one of the greatest stories in the history of sport, Leicester City are a fantastic football club with rich heritage and incredible fans. It’s a privilege to continue to work with the club in our role as official kit supplier. We look forward to many more fearless moments next season.”
The new official 16/17 home kit will be available from selected Puma outlets.
