Commemorating an historic 70th anniversary of their first club double, the 2016/17 LOSC Lille kits by New Balance are designed on a lasting legacy and built for a booming future.
Taking a closer look on location at the club's art inspired training complex, there are few settings that capture a spirit so pure in passion for a beautiful game. From the neck line that reads “1946 - 2016: Il y a 70 ans, le premier doublé...” (1946 - 2016: 70 years ago, the first double ...) through to the hem that reads ‘“Le LOSC est bâti sur pierre, rien ne peut l’ébranler” (“LOSC is built on stone, nothing can shake"), the home kit is dedicated to embracing its foundations in order to inspire the future.
On both home and away kits, the reverse carries the 'fleur-de-lys'. This emblem celebrates the coat of arms of Lille, the city’s architecture and also its historic landmarks again, playing a well tailored game that is washed in traditions.
While the home shirt deviates away from its traditional red, it's the away kit that gets the rouge treatment; 'Pompien Red' is the official collar tone. Each with their sharp v-necks and pin-striped finish around the cuffs and collar, it's those gradient laden chevrons that catch the eye in forming the base. A cultured link up to kick off proceedings between club and brand, it begins with well dressed origins.
Charming on the eye by way of the aesthetic, all kits are woven with the NB Dry technology and are equipped under the hood to allow for the most giving of performances.
The LOSC Lille 16/17 kits by New Balance are available to pre-order now and will drop in stores from 8th July.
