Stepping out for the first time in their home, away and third kits for the 2016/17 season, Tottenham Hotspur took to a live broadcast to launch their fresh Under Armour threads.
Striking individual style, the 16/17 home kit is dominated by the traditional white and navy blue though complimented with a rather tasteful gold trim and across the sleeves. More rich colour for the wardrobe, the away shirt comes in navy blue with gold trim on the crew neck and also carries a golden triple loop motif on the sleeves. Over the last decade, the third shirt has often been one of alarming tones - fluorescent colours tend to be the way. Beautifully pinstriped however, Spurs have taken to a bit of a Golden Wonder for this season. A cultured gem, no doubting it's stand-out appeal.
In similar fashion, both home and away goalkeepers shirts are simple and effective. A stylish 'capri blue' for home, and a vibrant 'burnt orange' for away, both strips include a crew neck design and feature a navy blue diagonal stripe on each sleeve. Unquestionably sharp, each kit is equipped with the latest tech from Under Armour's Innovation Lab in Baltimore, Maryland, the new 2016/17. Weighing just 107 grams and containing the brand’s quick-drying fabric alongside its signature Moisture Transport System, moisture is wicked away from the body to ensure players always stay dry.
The First Team will step out in the new designs for the first time when they head to Melbourne, Australia, to face Juventus and Atletico Madrid on July 26 and 29, respectively, as part of the Club’s involvement in the International Champions Cup. You'll be able to suit up here from 15th July.
