The second kit drop ahead of the 2017 MLS season sees Philadelphia Union join the party. Launching their 'Secondary Kit', with its gold stripes and blue cuffs, it's a contender that'll be right up there, rap or no rap.
Keeping to the club’s traditional colours, it’s a a mostly white number with the club’s signature navy on the sleeves. The Union crest, while being moved from the centre of the jersey to the left, has been given a monochrome design, while a feaux v-neck collar and subtle shimmers of gold detailing throughout complete the look.
Launching the kit with their own music video set to “Bad Boujee” by Migos (because, why not?) and featuring players Maurice Edu, Josh Yaro and Ilsinho, it's a unique way of unveiling The Union's fresh threads. Let's just say good effort lads. The Union are the second team to release their new jerseys this year, following the Portland Timbers reveal early in January.
The 2017 MLS season kicks off on the 3rd of March. It's another day closer.
