First thing's first: It's yellow, obviously. PUMA have unveiled the 2017/18 Borussia Dortmund home shirt with horizontal stripes for a fresh take on the famous yellow jerseys of the German giants.
In may ways, the home shirt for a club is the most difficult to design. Traditional ties restrict the freedom to create and a new shirt every season means brands need to think on their toes. PUMA have done just that with the 2017/18 Borussia Dortmund home shirt by creating a base for horizontal stripes that incorporate a vibrant colour gradient from black to yellow all the way across the front of the jersey.
Borussia Dortmund will change into their new home kit for the final two games of the current season when they face Werder Bremen before remaining in the new shirts for the DFB cup final in Berlin against Eintracht on May 27. For these games only, each player will wear an individual message of motivation from the fans that'll be printed inside the shirts.
