Arsenal go dark down under by unveiling their PUMA 2017/18 third kit during their pre-season tour of Australia in Sydney. Petr Cech, Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Mesut Ozil and new signing Alexandre Lacazette all filled the Sydney Harbour backdrop for a sunset launch of picturesque style.
Arsenal's pre-season tour bus has rolled into town ready for games against Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers, but before that there was a bit of business to do. Arriving by speed boat over 10,000 miles from home to launch a third kit is pretty big time, but it ensured the Gunners' Australian fanbase were treated to an exclusive show as Arsenal's pool of talent formed an expensive stage under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Off the boat and onto land, and it quickly became apparent that PUMA have served up a cracker for the Gooners to wear as their alternative strip next season. Soaked in stealth and popping in pink it's a look of stylised business and one that will provide a mean vibe on pitch. Lacazette and his new chums won't have to wait long to wear their new colours for the first time as Arsenal play twice in Sydney this week before heading to Shanghai, Beijing and then back to home to London to wrap up their tour in a jet-lagged Emirates Cup.
