Atlanta United have more than muscled their way into the MLS mix. In their inaugural season they saw the highest average attendance, became the most followed MLS club on Twitter, and finished fourth in the Eastern conference to reach the play-offs.
A genuine MLS powerhouse after just one season. The rate of growth is immense, and the club are riding the wave of hype further into the upcoming season by unveiling their new 2018 Secondary Kit, with a little help from Georgia-born rapper, 2 Chainz.
Taking inspiration from the Georgia Peach the new away strip serves as a constant reminder of the club's roots when they go on their travels this season. The home colours of red, black, and gold are a strong statement, but the peach is an identity for fans to carry with pride, and the away shirt is deliciously Georgian and exquisitely stylish.
Draped on street corners, bridges, license plates, and more – the quintessential peach colour blankets the city, serving as a constant reminder of the people's roots. The new away strip sees a panel pattern decorating the front of the kit, which is inspired by two factors; the classic soccer ball design, and their bold, state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof.
Over 2,000 fans attended an open training session on Thursday to see the players unveil the new adidas 2018 away kit – a jersey that they'll be wearing competitively when the MLS season kicks off next month.
