Seattle Sounders bring the noise in New Rave Green for their 2018 MLS adidas Primary Jersey. Shooting sharp with a twist on tradition, the Sounders new home kit features a unique print across the body and it's pretty damn delicious.
The brush-stroke print across the entire front body is where it's at this season, and it's a credit to adidas who manage to make each MLS jersey bespoke to each MLS club. For Seattle, who retain the clean sponsorship of XBOX in all white, the kit is instantly identifiable as one of MLS' powerhouses.
Sounders players Kelvin Leerdam and Stefan Frei took up kit modelling responsibilities, with goalkeeper Will Bruin showcasing the new GK strip. Further details are on the neckline, where the phrase "You Will Hear Us" is featured, the motto of fan site SounderAtHeart.com, which is itself a snippet from the full verse paying tribute to Seattle's hordes of noisy fans: Nos audietis in somniis/nos audietis in alto ("You will hear us in your sleep/You will hear us from the deep").
