Nike edge closer to completing their 2018 World Cup replica line-up as the Poland home and away shirts are revealed. Hitting up their first World Cup since 2006 Poland will land in Russia soaring with confidence.
Poland's rise to be amongst the top eight seeds is incredible considering their lowly ranking of 78 in 2013. This is a nation that is bang on form, led by a prolific goalscorer in captain Robert Lewandowski. Traditional shades of white and red cover the home and away designs on Nike's most advanced Vaporknit kits.
“The designs were inspired by the pride people take in the eagle, which is an important national symbol and the crest of the national team,” explains Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. “In France two years ago, the story was about the rise of the eagle. For 2018, that eagle is now soaring. Poland is a team to be taken seriously and they have the mentality of fierce underdogs.”
Rendered in white and platinum grey the home shirt features a diagonal chest pattern on the jersey. Two shades of vibrant red feature on the away, with the graphic representing the pride of the eagle cutting through the competition.
Along with the home and away kits, a full collection of training, travel and leisure apparel carries the theme of dynamic speed.
