Brazilian side Flamengo have unveiled their new adidas home shirt for the upcoming 2018/19 Brasileiro Série A season that kicks off this month. Red and black trends of tradition are mixed with modern styling for the Mengão.
Flamingo's season starts with a trip to Vitoria on 14/04 before wearing their new home shirt for the first time when they host Mineiro a week later. The home shirt follows the same trend as adidas 2018 World Cup shirts, featuring a familiar pattern across the horizontal block stripes.
That oversized Flamengo club crest is the statement feature on the front of the shirt as adidas pair a retro feel with their most advanced performance football shirt to date. Expect the on pitch edition to feature trademark South American sponsors scattered on every available space.
