Yeah, there's only a certain amount of flexibility in design when your home shirt is plain white, but the 2018/19 home jersey is crisply simplistic. Traditionally Real Madrid, the design features a new shade of white and a new collar construction that includes a bespoke button engraved with Real Madrid wording. The adidas stripes, logo and sponsor are black, previously used, most notably, in 2002, the year of Zidane’s famous Champions League Final goal. Timely.
The Real Madrid 2018/19 away shirt has more freedom to create, and it does just that by using a lifestyle-focused design. A dark toned base features a unique two-toned blue stripe pattern with a Tech Onix accent. The Real Madrid logo has also been re-imagined in a Tech Onix accent. A V-neck collar wraps things up. That new typeface is pretty damn seductive too.
