Having just announced Frank Lampard as their new manager, Derby County are setting up for a big 2018/19 season. Pairing the news with a fresh kit for the new season, Umbro have unveiled the 2018/19 threaded instalment that lands with a sharp finish.
Starting from pre-season, this new strip will be worn throughout the Sky Bet Championship season by Lampard’s side. Umbro are now into their fifth year serving as the Rams’ Official Kit Supplier after a new five-year contract extension was agreed ahead of the 2017/18 campaign. The deal ensured that the iconic UK kit manufacturer will continue to produce all on-pitch and training products for Derby’s management staff and squad as well as sportswear for the Rams supporters, management staff and players until the end of the 2021/22 season.
As is the case once again, Umbro have supplied the club with another bespoke kit. The strong 2018/19 home shirt features the clubs traditional Black and White colours with a White body and sleeves with a Black neckline, cuffs and shoulder panels along with the evolved iconic running diamond taping also featuring as a graphic on the cuffs. A full-colour Derby County crest, ‘THE RAMS’ graphic on the back of the neck, classic Umbro stacked diamond motif and an official unique woven Umbro label finishes the iconic look. The kit will be completed by classic Black shorts and White tipped socks.
No official release date has been given for the kit yet but expect an away and third kit to complete the party in the next few weeks.
