New Balance roll out the Liverpool 2018/19 away shirt in a "Deep Violet" design which last featured for the club on the 2012/13 season’s third kit. The Anfield club will be looking to conquer all of Europe in patterns of purple when their players return from international duty come what July.
Yeah it might look like they're all goalkeepers, but there's something about this colour comb that's intriguingly appealing. It's a full plate of purple from head to toe, with "Deep Plum" shorts and socks completing the look. The away kit adopts the same jacquard linear graphic to the front body of the home shirt, reflecting the architecture of Anfield’s new Main Stand.
A contrasting Deep Plum blocks the back panel, and sleeves, with Alpha Orange branding bringing out key detail throughout the kit. The jersey also features top shoulder bonded tape, embroidered crest and a crew neck collar with insert. It wouldn't be a modern kit launch without a branded slogan, and New Balance has opted for "This Means More" because it just does. Alright?
