PSV Eindhoven have rolled out their home shirt for the 2018/19 season with, wait for it... red and white stripes. It's a difficult task to keep the same design relevant year after year, but it's what Umbro do best.
Yeah Umbro might not be as flash or sexy as Nike and adidas, but they don't aim to be. What you get with Umbro is bespoke quality and a confidence built upon the richest history in the game. No surprises that the PSV home shirt for 18/19 has a lot of thinking behind it.
The new strip features a special logo in the collar, inspired by a plaque in the Vrijstraat, the place where PSV was founded in 1913. A special marl effect gives the shirt a casual look and the overall aesthetic is wrapped up by black shorts and red and white socks. The Philips' Founders badge completes the shirt. The PSV 2018/19 home shirt is available from July 6.
