Boca Juniors roll out their new home and away shirts for the 2018/19 season as Nike supply the historic Argentine club with a classic home jersey, and an away design that reflects the immense atmosphere of La Bombonera.
The home shirt, featured above, keeps things traditional with a dark blue body and gold block stripe running across the chest. It's a look that identifies all over the world, and one that the club have owned. Smart, very smart. But it's the away shirt where Nike have had their fun.
Taking the intense atmosphere from their home stadium on the road with them, Boca Juniors will wear an away strip that's inspired by a seismometer. A navy stripe with Richter scale-inspired yellow edges runs across the chest – a tectonic nod to the passion that the fans showcase at their home stadium of La Bombonera.
Beautifully executed. You wouldn't expect anything less from a club with such a rich reputation of stunning kits. The Boca Juniors home and away jerseys will be available from July 20 on nike.com.
